Ceramic Wall Flower Plaques

Join Robin in the clay studio to learn how to fashion a wall plaque and decorate it with flowers. Students can choose from several simple shapes for their plaque, and can then learn how to choose sprig molds to decorate them. Not into flowers? You can make yours a beach themed plaque, or choose from buttons, feathers, or others. After fashioning the plaques, they will be dried and bisque fired so that students can return to learn how paint with underglazes if they wish. Students not wishing to return can leave me with glazing instructions. After underglaze is applied, plaques will be glazed with clear and fired. Students wishing to do their own underglaze can return on Saturday March 29 at 11 AM or make arrangements with Robing for a date/time that works.

This is a beginner level class. All materials provided, no experience necessary. Open to students aged 12 and up. Cost is $45 per person.
