Mommy and Me Clay Play

Are you an at home mom looking for creative ways to get out and have some hands on educational fun with your little one? Join Robin in the Clay Studio and have some fun learning about clay with your child. This introductory class will be a first, with more planned as we learn more about what folks would like to do with their little ones. This class is open to parents with young children age 3- 6 who haven’t yet begun their formal education. (We’ll have some other classes for the very young and those who are being homeschooled. ) We’ll explore some hand building techniques, starting with pinch pots for this class. At the end of class creations will be left to dry and will be fired with your choice of glaze. Future classes will explore other techniques and we’ll discuss some of them during this first one. All materials will be provided. Parents with more than one child are welcome to sign them up if they feel they can handle them together. Cost is $25 per parent/child pair with an additional $5 for each additional child.
