Hand Made Clay Ornaments

Join us for a hand building workshop and make your own Christmas Ornaments. We’re offering Christmas in July, so you’ll have plenty of time to make them and have them fired and returned for gifting or decorating. Students will be given a slab of clay from which they can use cookie cutters to make a couple of large snowflakes or a set of smaller ornaments. Depending on usage, students could make up to 8 ornaments. We have a large variety of shapes to choose from, including traditional Christmas shapes as well as winter, Northwoods and others. Participants will be guided through the process of making the ornaments and can paint them with underglaze colors. After the ornaments are finished and fired, students will be notified for pick up.

Cost is $40 per person and all materials will be provided, but you are welcome to bring cutters of your own if you wish. Open to folks ages 16 and up, age 5 and up if accompanied by a registered adult. Book 1 seat for each set of ornaments you wish to make. We have 2 time slots available, one at Noon and another at 2 PM. Limited to 8 students per time slot.
