Do you have a pollinator garden? Then you need a butterfly puddler! Butterflies and other pollinators appreciate shallow dishes with small rocks or depressions that can gather water for them to drink from. They need to sip in safety without worry of drowning or getting their wings wet.
Join Robin in the clay studio to make one! Using a slab of clay, you will hand build a shallow dish shaped like a leaf or something else pleasing to you. You can add some texture and shape to the dish as you like. Once it has been fashioned and smoothed it will be allowed to dry and then will be glazed in the color you choose and fired before it is returned to you along with a handful of stones. All materials are provided. Class is beginner level and suitable for students age 10 and up. Cost is $40 per person.
