Clay Wall Pockets

Join Robin in the clay studio and learn how to make an adorable clay wall pocket. This is a beginner level class where you will learn how to cut a slab of clay and shape it to resemble an envelope. It can then be decorated with pieces pressed into sprig molds. There are many shapes to choose from including squirrels, birds, feathers, flowers, buttons and seashells. Students can then choose a glaze or underglazes to compliment their chosen decorations. After class pieces will be dried, fired, and glazed before students will be notified they are ready.

All materials provided, no experience necessary. Open to students age 12 and up. Cost is $45 per person. Finished pockets can be hung on a wall and can hold small items.
