Critter Camp, a Kid’s Art Experience, with Hannah of Owlfeathers Watercolor

Wheel of Light Studio is proud to partner with Hannah of Owlfeathers Watercolor to offer a fun and creative art experience to enhance your child’s summer. Join us for Critter Camp 2024, an art experience for kids who love critters. Tues. July 16 through Fri. July 19 from 1 to 4 PM, kids can look forward to 2 art/craft activities each day with a snack break in between. Each day will focus on one type of critter.  We’ll have a day for critters that fly, one for those that swim, one for the furry type, and a day for the creepy-crawly kind of critter., Each day will include a watercolor lesson in addition to something else. Other activities offered will include paint your own pet or fav animal on a ceramic tile, crafting a sea life mobile, and painting birdhouses.

And we’ll have a special guest bringing an educational program about reptiles and amphibians which will include live turtles!  Ian Benoit, of Ian’s Reptilians (Follow him on Facebook) is a professional reptile keeper trained at Lake Tobias. He will be bringing out a variety of reptiles for the presentation, including a gecko, two different types of snakes, and our own resident painted turtles, along with scientific reptile specimens.

All materials will be provided, including snacks. Cost is $95 per child. Space is limited, so please register early to secure your seat. Open to any school aged children.  Please note any dietary restrictions/allergies when you register. Thank you.
