SUMMARY:Wednesday Afternoon 6 Week Wheel Throwing Course
DESCRIPTION:Wheel Throwing for 6 weeks\n\nA six week course where you can b
 uild your skills\, consisting of 2.5 hours of instruction and wheel time\,
  every Wednesday afternoon for 6 weeks. This course is offered to all skil
 l levels\, but it is recommended that you first take Intro to Wheel Throwi
 ng if you have never done anything on a potter’s wheel before. Class fee
  includes use of studio equipment and glazes with supervision. Community t
 ools are available if you don’t have your own. Basic skills will be cove
 red including trimming and glazing. New skills will be introduced at stude
 nts' request as you move at your own pace. Students will be expected to cl
 ean their work stations at the end of each class. Work must be completed i
 n the 2.5 hours provided. Students should bring an apron or towel. Short f
 ingernails are recommended.\n\nNew students will be given 10 lbs of clay t
 o get started. Additional clay can be purchased at cost as needed. Additio
 nal studio use will cost $20/hr. Left over clay at the end of the six week
 s must be taken home or it will be added to the recycle. Open to students 
 age 16 and over. Runs each Wednesday afternoon from Sept. 10 to Oct. 15\,
