SUMMARY:Thursday Evening 6 Week Wheel Throwing Course
DESCRIPTION:Wheel Throwing for 6 weeks\n\nA six week course where you can b
 uild your skills\, consisting of 2.5 hours of instruction and wheel time\,
  every Thursday for 6 weeks. This course is offered to all skill levels\, 
 but it is recommended that you first take Intro to Wheel Throwing if you h
 ave never done anything on a potter’s wheel before. Class fee includes u
 se of studio equipment and glazes with supervision. Community tools are av
 ailable if you don’t have your own. Basic skills will be covered includi
 ng trimming and glazing. New skills will be introduced at students' reques
 t as you move at your own pace.\n\nStudents will be expected to clean thei
 r work stations at the end of each class. Work must be completed in the 2.
 5 hours provided. Students should bring an apron or towel. Short fingernai
 ls are recommended.\n\nNew Students will be given 10 lbs of clay to get st
 arted. Fresh clay can be purchased as needed at cost. Additional studio us
 e will cost $25/hr. Left over clay at the end of the six weeks must be tak
 en home or it will be added to the recycle. Open to students age 14 and ov
 er. Runs each Thursday Evening from 6-8:30 PM from April 16 to May 21.\n\n
 Cost is $190 per person. \n\n
