SUMMARY:Summer Mini Sessions for Wheel Throwing
DESCRIPTION:Back again this summer\, our mini four week summer session for 
 those unable to commit to the entire summer\, but not wanting to wait unti
 l September (gasp!) for the next class! This course is where you can build
  your skills\, consisting of 2.5 hours of instruction and wheel time. Stud
 ents wanting to attend the mini session will be able to choose their 4 wee
 ks from all available classes over the summer. Spaces will be first come\,
  first served and sign ups can be done in person. Class times available ar
 e Tuesday evening from 5:30-8 PM\, Wednesday afternoons 1:30-4 or evenings
  6-8:30 PM. Classes begin on Tuesday June 2.   Last day of classes will 
 be August 12\, so bookings will close when we have less than 4 weeks left 
 in the summer.\n\nThis course is offered to all skill levels\, but it is r
 ecommended that you first take Intro to Wheel Throwing if you have never d
 one anything on a potter’s wheel before. Class fee of $130  includes us
 e of studio equipment and glazes with supervision. Community tools are ava
 ilable if you don’t have your own. Basic skills will be covered includin
 g trimming and glazing. New skills will be introduced at students’ reque
 st as you move at your own pace. Students will be expected to clean their 
 work stations at the end of each class. Work must be completed in the 2.5 
 hours provided. Students should bring an apron or towel. Short fingernails
  are recommended.\n\nNew students will be provided 10 pounds of clay to ge
 t started. Fresh clay can be purchased as needed\, at cost.  Additional s
 tudio use will cost $20/hr. Left over clay at the end of the session must 
 be taken home or it will be added to the recycle. Open to students age 14 
 and over. Classes begin June 2 and end August 12.  Choose which day/time 
 you prefer. You will be emailed to confirm which dates you wish to attend.
