Join us for a fun filled event as we ramp up our Second Saturdays. With an eye towards the upcoming holidays and folks busy schedules we’ll be open longer and offering more to do on the second Saturday of each month. Join us in September for artisan demonstrations including Chain Maille by Sarah Boncal of Bits of Serenity and metal smithing by Thistlehammer.
We’ll also be hosting the first ever Camera Club at the Wheel. Join James Wheeler of Arkansawyer Photography in the front classroom from 11-1 for the inaugural gathering of like minded shutterbugs and photography enthusiasts. The Camera Club will meet monthly on Second Saturdays to learn more about photography in general and their equipment specifically with the sharp eyed Arkansawyer leading the group. Future club meetings will include outings to explore different settings and group challenges in specific formats, all while sharing in the experience of being mentored by an experienced photographer. Photographers of all experience levels are invited to join in the sharing.
And for those who enjoyed our workshops, returning for fall is Amber Judy with a simple beading project. All materials supplied for a fun and simple beading project for only $20 per person. Open from 11-3, stop in when able, but please register by booking a seat or messaging the shop so we can have an attendance list for supplies.
