Welcome to the class that will teach you the basics of building your painting technique along with creating your designs.
One Stroke Folk Art teaching techniques focus on the basic elements of simplifying an approach in painting. During the classes you will learn to properly load the brush for a specific outcome. Specific brush strokes and brushes will be demonstrated to show the effect of a quick and easy outcome you can expect in your painting as you move forward.
This class has been planned as a series for people who want to learn this technique and continue to build on it. The first class will focus on basics. You will leave the class with a finished project.
Please know the classes will focus on techniques and not so much a completed painting each time. We will build on these skills and lead up to that masterpiece!
Class is $30 per person plus a $5 material fee, all materials supplied, age 14 and up. Jacqueline Whitcomb is a Certified Folk Art One Stroke instructor with many years experience.
