Join Robin in the clay studio for a fun hand building workshop and make your own pottery birdhouse. These houses will be glazed and fired and can be placed outdoors during frost free weather. You will want to bring them inside when the weather turns cold. To clean out old bird nest material, simply light with a match and allow to burn out, then rinse free of ash.
Students will be assisted in hand building a house from clay and can then paint it with underglaze colors if they wish. Houses will be dried and fired and will be returned to the students in about 4-6 weeks. Class is open to anyone age 10 and up. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Cost is $55 per person, all materials provided. There are 2 time slots to choose from. Please note either the 11 am to 1 pm, or the 2-4 pm time slot when you book your seat. Space is limited, please register early.
