Join us for a 6-week study of oil painting for beginners. Linda will walk students through the fundamentals of brushes, strokes, and the color wheel. In addition, she will cover the basic learning of the medium itself and how to accelerate it and decelerate it, as well as light and shadow, while painting a still life. Linda will paint along with you for the first three weeks while teaching, then students can paint a new scene of their choosing and Linda will assist as needed 1:1.
Classes will be 2 hours each, beginning on Wednesday September 21 and continuing every Wednesday evening through October 26, from 6-8 PM. Cost of class for 6 weeks is $200 plus a $20 material fee, which covers all supplies needed. Register on the website by clicking the ticket link to book your seat.
